This is completely anecdotal.

One of the most quiet and sad events of 2023 will be the leaving (whether forced or not) of junior employees, especially the “apprentices”.

Those given the chance at the job will be faced with the same walls removed from them, just three steps forward. Same will be with same and the cycle will come back around again.
