DTC is dead

This is completely anecdotal.

Not entirely, just solo DTC.

  • Mixed retail is the only way to go
  • Used to work because online ads were cheap
  • Attention was cheap
  • Flood of online brands hard to keep attention
  • Consumers used to next-day/same-day delivery, so they’d rather go in person
  • I dont know how to say this, but there’s nothing like spending money in person
